Sporle Primary Academy

Our Church

As a Church of England school we hold a Christian act of worship every day.  Emphasis is put on living our lives in a way which is caring towards others, ourselves and the environment.  Collective Worship plays a very important role in setting the tone of school life.  We aim to create an atmosphere of peace, understanding and awareness.  Collective Worship is conducted in a broadly Christian tradition which is non denominational. At present we are using the ‘Values for Life’ resource to support the planning and delivery of Collective Worship. The children are encouraged to play an active part.

Our daily Collective Worship is led by the teaching staff and we also have worship led by The Revd. Janet Allan; occasionally other visitors take special acts of worship.

The Reverend Janet Allan, Vicar of St Peter and St Paul Swaffham and St Mary, Sporle.

Throughout the year parents will be invited to join us for special times at church.

Parents may withdraw their children from the Collective Act of Worship if they put in a written request to do so.
